Taking Steps

On the Sunday of our last Kyrios I decided to take an early walk on the Bishop Lane Center grounds before our morning team meeting. I climbed the big hill that over looked the Youth Center and looked down on it while I reflected on all that had happened in that building on this our 40^th Kyrios Retreat Weekend.

I thought back on the events of the night before and how Jesus had touched each of our hearts while in Eucharistic Adoration. I recalled all of us singing and worshiping our Lord, our faces almost radiant in the candlelight, glowing with the light of Christ and the presence of His Holy Spirit.

Now this next morning, while most of us were still asleep, I took some time to walk and reflect on those most powerful moments of our weekend.

While traveling down the hill back to the Center I became aware of each of my steps and I began to reflect on the whole idea of taking steps. (read more)

Thank you everyone who helped wash cars or had a car washed at our Car Wash on September 16th. The day was a great success! We washed 85 cars and raised $586.10. All proceeds will be donated to the Rockford Area Pregnancy Care Center.
